Congressional Candidate Liz Watson's Statement on Labor Day

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Liz Watson, Democratic candidate for Indiana’s 9th Congressional district, issued the following statement to commemorate Labor Day:

“Too many Hoosiers today are working as hard as they can and they are doing everything right, but they are still struggling just to keep their heads above water. It’s time for elected leaders to ensure that hardworking men and women can get ahead again. I’m running for Congress because we need representatives in Washington who are going to have the backs of the working class. I’m ready to fight for Hoosier families. I’m very proud to have support from labor unions because when Indiana’s unions are strong, Indiana’s families are strong."
